14. System restore point (For Windows 2000 and XP only) Index Previous Next  

Commonly, Windows system will auto create a restore point in scheduled time or after some special actions. You also could create a restore point manually. While you create a windows system restore point with Registry Fast, this utility could restore the Windows system to the status of restore point.

To use system resotre function, just do the following:

#1. Open Registry Fast and click Advanced tab.
#2. Click 'system restore point' icon, and it will show the existed restore points. If you wish to create a new restore point for the current system, click 'create a restore point' button. It is required to input the restore point name at first, and after pressing 'OK" for a few seconds, the new restore point name will be shown on the list.

#4. When you wish to restore system, just select the point and click restore. For example, select 'instaledl ACDSee 8' and click 'Restore' will lead system to the status just before installing ACDSee 8.
