5. Startup manager Index Previous Next

The Registry Fast Startup Manager can be used to display information about applications that are specified in your Registry to start with Windows. The Startup Manager has the ability to:

  • Display detailed information about each startup application.
  • Remove a Registry entry related to auto startup applications. This physically deletes the entry in your Registry. There is no undo for this action.

The Registry Fast Startup Manager utility is useful for correcting any additional startup errors that Registry Fast did not correct automatically, such as RUNDLL errors, or assistting you in reducing the number of applications starting with Windows. To temporarily disable startup applications using Startup Manager do the following:

  1. Click ADVANCED tab.
  2. Click the Startup Manager tab.
  3. Select items you want to remove from Windows startup list. Click "Remove" tab at the bottom.

  4. A confirmtioan dialog will be displayed asking you to confirm. Click "Yes" to confirm. There is no undo for this action.
